Sociology and Social Justice
Summer 2025 | -
Sociology and Social Justice is a part of the Core curriculum that assists students in developing a Christian worldview, with specific emphasis on the themes of Justice and Stewardship. Sociology and Social Justice introduces Sociology, which examines both the connection between the person and their social network, as well as their place in an elaborate mix of social structures and institutions. This is essential to understand and fulfill our God-ordained communal roles. Actions taken by Christians should reflect God’s norms for the creational order as communicated through his Word. Living as obedient disciples in community with one another, we are called to promote justice and stewardship throughout God’s kingdom.
