This course focuses on concepts and applications of arithmetic, including whole numbers, fractions, ratios, proportions, the decimal system, and percentages. Introductions to algebra, formulas, algebraic expressions and linear equations prepare students for courses such as Business Math and College Algebra. Special emphasis is placed on the application of these math skills to common workplace problems and real-life situations.
