Developing Cultural Proficiency in a Diverse World

Is a course in which students increase awareness of their own and others' life experiences and the impact that those experiences have in interpersonal interactions. The emphasis is on strategies for cultural competence. This course is appropriate for students in a variety of majors, and has a particular focus in the human services, counseling, psychology, and health fields.
